Montefiore Volunteer Partners (previously known as The Montefiore Auxiliary) is a service organization whose purpose is to enhance the quality of life of the residents and clients of Montefiore; to raise funds in order to fulfill this goal; to maintain its Jewish identity; and to advocate for and to foster interest about Montefiore throughout the community.
Montefiore Volunteer Partners (MVP), established in 1957, offers direct service to residents. It sponsors ongoing programs, parties, and events such as the monthly ice cream social, Bingo, Oneg Shabbats, field trips and Mother’s and Father’s Day gifts. Auxiliary members manage the MoMart Gift Shop and Posh Nosh Café, the proceeds from which directly benefit our residents. The Auxiliary also makes possible various projects that greatly contribute to the comfort and pleasure of our residents, family members and staff. Funds are also raised through annual bake sales, gift wrapping station at Beachwood Place Mall (seasonal) and donations.
