Long-Term Care
Montefiore offers long-term care services based on the level of resident needs.

Short-Term Post-Hospital Care
After a surgery, injury or illness, Montefiore’s Post-Hospital Care Center provides physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as skilled nursing care and medical monitoring.

Dementia Special Unit
Montefiore’s Dementia Special Care Unit is designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related illnesses and is in a home-like secure unit. This unit offers specialized activities, programs and services for its residents. Aptly called “Central Park” – the heart of the unit features colorful indoor trees and flowers, park benches, a lamp post, a virtual blue sky and sounds of nature -  all leading to a comfortable, secure and caring setting with a focus on each resident’s individual needs.
