Montefiore’s hospice and palliative care services offer quality of life with dignity, caring and compassion to those facing a life-limiting illness. We provide care in a patient’s home, in our inpatient six-bed hospice unit, throughout our facility and in other local healthcare facilities.

You can help us realize our dream for the future…

We envision providing care for patients and support for their families in a setting worthy of our exceptional services. Designed to create a calm and pleasing environment for those experiencing the advanced stages of illness, this welcoming 3000-square-foot addition to Montefiore will provide a home-like environment with warm and inviting living spaces designed to create a peaceful atmosphere.

Pavilion patients and families will benefit from the exceptional programs and services that are the hallmark of Montefiore, while enjoying an environment focused on the specialized and unique needs of hospice and palliative care.  With their own private entrance and parking, families can visit with loved ones in the indoor garden/living room and outdoor healing garden. Ten patient rooms will be a short distance from art, music, and massage therapies and Reiki treatments in the wellness room; a consultation room will double as an overnight option for family; a meditation/quiet room will be available 24/7; and a meeting room will be used for family gatherings and by bereavement support groups, hospice volunteers and staff. There are no other facilities like this in the area.
