The Montefiore family is always growing and improving, as such, so too are our are two campuses. In recent months the Montefiore chapel/auditorium was renovated and The Weils expanded and now boasts a 20,500 square foot rehabilitation therapy and skilled nursing pavilion. Additionally, the assisted living community now offers a homelike, intimate and secure memory-care area.

The remodeled Maltz Chapel/Auditorium has three different gathering spaces which may be combined or used separately. Moveable walls allow the space to be separated into one, two or three different rooms, each of which has a separate entrance and large exterior windows.

The new entryway includes a coat room, kitchenette and the latest in technology including pre-programmed lighting controls, drop down screens and a cutting-edge sound system. This innovative and high-tech space allows for tele-conferencing, training sessions, webinars and entertainment events. Our sincere thanks go to Milton and Tamar Maltz for making this renovation possible.

The Rehab Pavilion at The Weils features 29-beds for rehabilitation therapy and skilled nursing and puts an emphasis on healing in a warm and soothing environment. In addition to assisted living, we offer memory-care in a comfortable safe environment.

The rehabilitation pavilion features a floor-to-ceiling tiled fireplace with cozy seating and a welcoming dining area. Bright comfortable rooms are each outfitted with accessible , private bathrooms. The therapy room has calming neutral colors while accent walls enliven the space with the latest in rehab therapy equipment.

Montefiore’s dementia care unit was recently renovated and converted into ‘Central Park’ – complete with park benches and chairs, colorful plantings , a virtual blue sky, carpet that looks like grass and cobblestones — all for residents and family members to relax, reminisce and enjoy. Our thanks go to the Morton Gross Family for their generous support for the renovation of this area. Looking ahead we have much to be proud of!

Montefiore History

Founded in 1882, Montefiore boasts a 128-year legacy of excellence and personalized care that includes promoting wellness, treating illness and maintaining the highest possible quality of life for Greater Cleveland’s senior Jewish community.

A not-for-profit organization, Montefiore provides healthcare services from its Beachwood facility and other locations in the community. Montefiore’s Beachwood campus offers a full range of healthcare services including long-term and post-hospital care, home health care,dementia special care, palliative and hospice services

Montefiore is well-known for its extensive homecare including private duty and wellness programs and in-home compassionate care. The Weils, an active senior living community in Chagrin Falls, is an esteemed addition to Montefiore’s continuum of care and is open to all faiths.
