Montefiore Goals

Montefiore will provide a comprehensive and accessible array of programs and services to meet the needs and to address the issues of people as they age. This system of services will be based on Jewish values, recognized for excellence and responsive to the rapidly changing environments in healthcare, funding, technology and numbers of people living longer lives.

Montefiore will be:

Comprehensive - To ensure that Montefiore is either a prime provider or can provide a system for comprehensive, quality residential and community programs and services that fosters the independence of older persons and others for as long as feasible. These may include, but need not be limited to, long-term care, post-hospital care, rehabilitation, hospice, assisted living and home care.

Excellent - To ensure that the highest quality of care and services is provided to those who use our services, and to continually assess and evaluate our programs and services to enhance their quality.

Fiscally Sound - To provide for the fiscal stability of the organization including initiatives designed to develop increased revenue through charitable giving and growth of the permanent endowments.

Accessible - To ensure programs and services are centered around our clients and are easily accessible by them; that provide for alternate arrangements so the needs of our clients are met even if they are placed on waiting lists and are compatible with the regulatory and economic environment. Collaboration with other organizations will be pursued to assure accessibility, quality and economy.

Jewish - To ensure that the Jewish community of Greater Cleveland continues to be served by Montefiore programs and services following Jewish traditions and values.
