The Montefiore Auxiliary is a service organization whose purpose is to enhance the quality of life of the residents and clients of Montefiore; to raise funds in order to fulfill this goal; to maintain its Jewish identity; and to advocate for and to foster interest about Montefiore throughout the community.

The Montefiore Auxiliary, established in 1957, offers direct service to residents. It provides ongoing programs and parties such as the monthly ice cream social. Auxiliary members manage the Mo Mart Gift Shop and Posh Nosh Café, the proceeds from which directly benefit our residents. The Auxiliary also makes possible various projects that greatly contribute to the comfort and pleasure of our residents, family members and staff.
